The web pages in this section have been composed by the Restoration Manager, currently Ron Gillis.

It provides a history of the progress made on the restoration of A52-600.

Association members and other volunteers work on weekdays and weekends and are always looking for people interested in assisting with restoration tasks.

People with fine woodworking skills are always welcomed, in addition those who have not had experience in either wood or metal working are also welcomed and will be trained ’on the job’.

The RAAF Museum wishes to restore A52-600 to as close as possible air worthy condition but she will be for static display only and be a reference aircraft for future generations.

If you are interested in helping us out please go to the “Hangar” page for contact details.
